Chamber Business Show to Feature Green Tech Companies

For the last three years, the Chamber has been a leader in branding our region as a global hot spot for green technology. As a founding member of the Green Team, it has always been my goal for Central New York to be synonymous with everything green. Along with my partners on the Green Team, we are seeing this dream become a reality. We rolled out the Battelle Report findings to you only six short months ago and we are capitalizing on the opportunities identified in this report. I have shared with you our experience at the GreenBuild conference in November where we networked with green technology companies, identified in the Battelle Report, which could potentially invest in our region.

We are proud to be taking another step in showcasing the region as a leader in green technologies. The 17th annual Chamber Business Show, to be held on April 2 at the Toyota Exhibit Center at the NYS Fairgrounds, will feature the green tech companies of New York’s Creative Core. Firms that are developing a green technology or manufacturing a green product will be invited, along with green architects, engineers, builders and other service providers. This is the FIRST SHOW of its kind in the Northeast and we’re proud to be hosting this innovative event.

The Chamber Business Show will remain the premier networking event in our region. The same great exhibitors and attendees will be on hand to highlight the Central New York business community. The green tech companies will be an additional attraction for both our exhibitors and attendees. We encourage you to join this showcase if your business is involved in cutting-edge green technology. Or, maybe you’re just getting your feet wet with the whole green revolution – no problem!  Stop by the Creative Core showcase and learn about all the innovative work happening right in your own backyard!

I look forward to seeing you on April 2, 2009 at the 17th Annual Chamber Business Show featuring the green tech companies of the Creative Core. For more information on how you can become a part of this inaugural event, please contact Karen Villi at (315) 470-1835 or kvilli@syracusechamber.com.
