Greater Syracuse Chamber of Commerce | Fri, October 5th, 2007SYRACUSE, NY – The Greater Syracuse Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the addition of a new member, Susan M. Crossett, to the Chamber board of directors. Ms. Crossett currently serves as the vice president of energy solution services for National Grid.
Before being appointed to her present position, Ms. Crossett served as the vice president of public affairs for National Grid, New York. Prior to joining National Grid in 1999, Ms. Crossett was the manager of government affairs at Carrier Corporation. Ms. Crossett’s experience also includes serving in New York Gov. George Pataki’s administration as special assistant to the chairman of the worker’s compensation board. She also held the positions of vice president of government relations for the Manufacturer’s Association of Central New York and assistant executive director of Associated Builders and Contractors. Ms. Crossett serves on the board of directors of numerous local organizations, and is also active in several policy issue committees. In 2005, Gov. Pataki appointed Ms. Crossett as a regional member of the Commission on Health Care Facilities. Ms. Crossett received her bachelor’s degree in political science from Syracuse University, and earned a master’s degree from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Citizenship.
