Rapid Response Monitoring

Rapid Response Monitoring, a coast-to-coast provider of wholesale electronic monitoring services, has, since its incorporation, been based in Syracuse. After relocating their national headquarters to a state-of-the-art facility in historic Franklin Square, the company has been able to expand
its reputation as a national leader in electronic monitoring technology, largely due to its use of “home grown” talent.
Since its current 40,000 square-foot facility became the company’s headquarters, Rapid Response has been able to create over 100 new jobs, many of them in high-tech areas such as software development,
telecommunications, hands-on electronics and network development & security. Rapid Response has attracted not only outstanding local talent, developing additional
positions in its Programming & Software Development divisions; it has become a focal point for other area technology providers that make use of its state-of-the-art Training Center. Rapid Response created not only an “employee friendly” workplace, with ergonomic workstations, sound masking, and handicap conveniences, but a training center utilizing multiple electronic media.
Rapid Response’s high technology doesn’t keep them from being down-to-earth: The company implements many “Green” features and practices. Rapid Response recently abandoned foam & paper cups in its vending
machines (which dispense free coffee & soft drinks for employees) in favor of re-usable travel mugs supplied by the company. Live plants not only brighten the facility, but assist with air quality. The company also worked with Syracuse’s Centro Bus to have a stop added so employees can use public transportation if they choose. Located on the banks of Onondaga Creek, employees can enjoy walks on the facility grounds, on the Creekwalk Path, or take advantage of the Franklin Square shops and restaurants.
Rapid Response and its employees are looking forward to expanding as a technology company that knows it isn’t possible to have growth without strong roots.
