Hospice Family Care Givers Training to Begin

Hospice is searching for Family Care Givers – volunteers who are emotionally mature, compassionate, dedicated people wishing to provide sensitive support at end-of-life to people and their families. Volunteers work with a professional Hospice team to help families care for their loved ones at home, or other residential or inpatient facilities. Hospice volunteers are provided comprehensive training, education and ongoing support.
The next training series starts January 28 and continues for eight weeks.
Monday mornings
9:30 a.m. to noon Jan. 28, Feb. 4, 11, 18, 25, March 3, 10, 17
Thursday evenings
5 to 7:30 p.m. Jan. 31, Feb. 7, 14, 21, 28, March 6 13, 20
As a convenience, classes will be held morning and evenings. All sessions are held at Hospice, 990 Seventh North St., Liverpool. Please call 634-1100 for further information.
